Find domains by naming pattern in the Iris Investigate pDNS panel

The Passive DNS (pDNS) panel in Iris Investigate now includes a Flexible/Regex search scope:

  • Pattern-based discovery: Find domains matching naming patterns, brand keywords, or domain generation algorithm (DGA) campaigns using regular expressions
  • Simple keyword mode: Enter plain keywords to discover matching domains without constructing regex patterns
  • Record type support: Search across A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, SOA, and TXT records with query and response directions
  • Two-stage workflow: Discover domains with flexible search, then pivot to standard search or the Pivot Engine for complete metadata and detailed analysis

Select the Flexible/Regex scope from the pDNS panel dropdown to get started.
