SSL certificate enhancements in Iris Investigate

Iris Investigate now includes comprehensive SSL certificate enhancements:

Certificate gathering improvements:

  • Faster acquisition: Certificates are now gathered as part of screenshot gathering, significantly speeding up certificate acquisition for newly active domains

New Pivot Engine fields:

  • Issuer Common Name: Pivot on certificate issuers to find related domains
  • Subject Alt Names: Discover domains through certificate Subject Alternative Names

New certificate fields:

  • Duration: View the number of days a certificate is valid
  • Issuer Common Name: See who issued the certificate
  • Subject Common Name: View the primary domain the certificate is issued for
  • Subject Alt Names: See all domains covered by the certificate
  • Not Before and Not After dates: View the certificate validity period

These fields are available in:

  • UX Advanced Search: Filter and search by certificate attributes
  • API responses: Access certificate data programmatically

These enhancements provide deeper visibility into SSL certificate infrastructure, helping you identify relationships between domains and detect potential security issues.
